College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
UConn’s largest College consists of 23 departments. Study
opportunities range from biology, economics and chemistry to
psychology, family studies, journalism and marine science. Students in the College
of Liberal Arts are encouraged to practice critical thinking in
private life, in public roles as citizens and as members of the
